AMPLATZER® Vascular Plugs are designed to provide optimal embolization of peripheral veins and arteries through single device occlusion, full cross-sectional vessel coverage, controlled and precise deployment.

A single device from the AMPLATZER Vascular Plug Family frequently blocks a vessel that would have required many coils, which makes it a very efficient and cost-effective¹ alternative to coils or surgery. AMPLATZER Vascular Plugs have the ability to recapture and reposition, if necessary.

AMPLATZER® Vascular Plug 4

The AMPLATZER® Vascular Plug 4 is delivered through a 0.038 diagnostic catheter extending the reach of the AMPLATZER® Vascular Plug Family into the distal vasculature. The flexible mesh of the AMPLATZER Vascular Plug 4 and the floppy distal section of the delivery wire enable the device to travel through tortuous anatomy with ease while the multi-layered, double-lobed design provides rapid² embolization.

AMPLATZER® Vascular Plug III

The AMPLATZER® Vascular Plug III provides the fastest³ occlusion of all AMPLATZER Vascular Plugs due to its unique lobe shapes and additional layer(s) of dense Nitinol mesh. The extended rims of the AMPLATZER Vascular Plug III are designed to improve wall apposition. The device is ideal for high flow situations.

AMPLATZER® Vascular Plug II

The AMPLATZER® Vascular Plug II's unique multi-segmented, multi-layered design significantly reduces the time to occlusion³ for transcatheter embolization procedures. The three adjustable lobes of the AMPLATZER Vascular Plug II are designed to better conform to vessel landing zones.

AGA Medical’s AMPLATZER® Vascular Plug offers a single layer of Nitinol mesh designed for rapid occlusion. The single lobe design of the AMPLATZER Vascular Plug provides a device length appropriate for short vessel landing zones.
